Board Support Packages for TX6Q and TX6DL for QNX® Neutrino v6.5.0 SP1
The Karo Electronics TX6x System On Modules (SOM) featuring the i.MX6 processor family are based on the high performance ARM Cortex A9 multi¬core architecture. The TX6x series includes both dual core (TX6DL) and quad core (TX6Q) version of the i.MX6 CPU.
The TX6x SOM modules are well suited for industrial process visualization and control, medical equipment as well as in-car infotainment systems.
The i.MX6 processor offers a rich variety of I/O interfaces such as: Ethernet, 2x USB, 2x CAN, PCIe, GPIO’s, SPI’s, PWM, UART’s, I²C’s and 2 camera interfaces. Full information on the CPU module can be found here.
The TX6 family supports 2 display outputs (LCD and LVDS). Video streams can be integrated into the user interface using various built-in hardware codecs.
SITRE has developed QNX 6.5.0 SP1 Board Support Packages for the StarterKit5 development platform (mother board). SITRE does provide technical support for this BSP.
The TX6DL and the TX6Q BSP’s have been derived from the existing i.MX6 BSP.
