Following the same concept as its predecessor, it is combining two parts, the System On Module (SOM) on which seat the CPU and its memories, and a daughter board on which you will find all I/O and regular connectors.

Important to notice, the SOM is available on industrial temperature range, making it ready for production, while the daughter board can be modified to accommodate your exact needs.

The board is provided with a QNX Neutrino and Linux Board Support Package (BSP).

We usually start with Linux and QNX BSPs for our boards and follow with WinCE. The BSP’s are Engineering-Release Grade (a-la Freescale’s and based on Freescale’s PDK BSPs) and the source is provided at no charge.

Icytecture’si.MX31 Starter Board allows to develop applications for the i.MX31, both with the 0.5mm BGA part and the industrial-temperature 0.8mm BGA part.

The board features Icytecture i.MX31 CPU module that can be integrated in any design.
